These terms govern attendance at Seaside Sunset Sessions, a private gathering convened by Epicon Capital Club, Epicon Capital Club (FZE), Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By registering for the event you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms in full.
1Nature of the event
Seaside Sunset Sessions is a private event. It is not open to the general public. It is intended for family offices, institutional and private investors, founders, senior operators and invited guests of Epicon Capital Club.
Attendance is by registration and approval only. Submitting the registration form does not by itself create a right of entry.
2Registration and approval
- Every registration is reviewed individually. Epicon Capital Club may accept or decline any registration at its sole discretion and is not obliged to give reasons.
- Registration is confirmed only once payment of the attendance fee has been received and confirmation has been issued in writing.
- Registration closes at 12:00 PM Gulf Standard Time on the day of the event, or earlier if capacity is reached.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. Registrations containing false or misleading information may be cancelled without refund.
3Access credentials
Access is personal to the named guest. Credentials are non-transferable and may not be sold, shared, assigned or passed to any other person. Any attempt to do so voids the registration without refund.
The exact venue address is issued to confirmed guests before the event and is provided for personal use only. It should not be published or circulated.
4Right of admission
Epicon Capital Club reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the event, any person who:
- cannot present valid credentials or satisfactory identification;
- is found to have misused, shared or transferred credentials;
- behaves in a manner inconsistent with clause 5;
- is considered to present a risk to other guests, to staff or to the venue.
Removal under this clause does not give rise to any refund or compensation.
5Code of conduct
This is a professional gathering and guests are expected to conduct themselves accordingly. The following are not permitted:
- harassment, intimidation or discriminatory behaviour of any kind;
- unsolicited soliciting, selling or pitching to other guests;
- distribution of promotional material without prior written consent;
- conduct that disrupts the event or brings the venue, Epicon Capital Club or other guests into disrepute.
Guests remain responsible for their own conduct and for complying with the venue's own rules and with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
6Confidentiality
Conversations at the event are to be treated as confidential. Guests may not attribute, publish or circulate remarks made by other attendees without their express permission.
Recording of any kind, whether audio, video or photographic, requires prior written consent from Epicon Capital Club. Breach of this clause may result in immediate removal and permanent exclusion from future events.
7Photography and film by the organiser
Epicon Capital Club may photograph and film the event for editorial, archival and marketing purposes. By attending you consent to your image, likeness and voice being captured and used in that context, without payment.
If you prefer not to appear, you may opt out by writing to us before the event at events@epiconcapital.com and reasonable steps will be taken to accommodate the request.
8Fees, payment and refunds
The attendance fee is AED 590 per guest, plus 5% VAT, giving a total of AED 619.50. It includes two beverages, alcoholic or non-alcoholic and gourmet canapés, together with complimentary valet parking at the venue.
Attendance fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. This applies whether or not you attend and applies equally where a registration is cancelled under clauses 2, 4 or 5.
Payment is processed by Ziina. Epicon Capital Club does not receive or store your card details.
9Changes, postponement and cancellation
Epicon Capital Club may alter the agenda, speakers, format, venue or timing of the event where circumstances require and may postpone or cancel the event entirely.
Where the event is cancelled outright by the organiser and not rescheduled, liability is limited to the value of the attendance fee paid. No further compensation is payable, including for travel, accommodation or any other expense.
10Liability
Guests attend at their own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Epicon Capital Club accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or theft occurring at or in connection with the event, save where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11Your information
When you register we collect your first name, surname, email address, telephone number and company name, together with the time of registration and the time you accepted these terms.
- This information is used to review your registration, to administer your attendance and to contact you about this event.
- It is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for their own marketing.
- It is held only as long as needed for the event and for ordinary record keeping.
- You may ask us to correct or delete your information by writing to the address in clause 13.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
